Satin Scott

Apprentice Therapist

Satin Scott (she/her) holds a BA in English Language and Literature and is completing her Master’s in Social Work, with a concentration on clinical behavioral health at Colorado State University.

Satin seeks to foster an empathetic, accepting, and supportive space for clients to address life challenges and enhance well-being. She works to understand her clients as unique individuals while also looking into the systems that impact their lives, like their families, work, communities, and society.

She takes an eclectic approach, leaning into multiple modalities like Shame-Resilience Theory, Narrative Therapy, Strength-Based Perspectives, and Person-Centered Therapy to adapt to the changing therapeutic needs of her clients. Satin recognizes the honor of being a witness to people’s lives. She is motivated by the profound impact that therapy has had on her life, and she believes every human deserves a safe space to share and be seen, heard, validated, and empowered. Satin works with a variety of clients, including youth, college students, adults, older adults, couples, and families.

She specializes in depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, neurodiverse and highly sensitive clients, performers, grief and loss, and mental health wellness. She wants to work with anyone seeking empowerment, self-awareness, and growth toward healing and wellness. Satin is deeply curious about people, and she believes that everyone carries innate strengths.

Satin loves morning hikes while listening to music, being in or near water, playing her ukulele, enjoying the arts, and cuddling her cat, Meatloaf.
