Laura McBride, PHR
Chairperson, Director
Laura (she/her) holds her Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification as well as BA in Sociology from Oklahoma State University. She is a Certified Emergenetics Associate. Laura is passionate about serving as a cheerleader to the Khesed Wellness team. She believes teams who are supported by the trust and encouragement of an effective and kind board, are teams who will serve from a place of safety and authenticity. Laura enjoys time around a good meal with good friends or her husband and 5 adult children. She is rejuvenated by laughter mixed with deep conversations. She also loves time alone to read a good novel.
Louise Richey, MNM
Director
Louise (she/her) has a BA in Liberal Studies and a Master's in Nonprofit Management, with a certificate in Leadership. Louise's professional work centers around listening, cultivating relationships, and connecting the community to resources they need. She's passionate about making access to mental healthcare available to everyone. Louise is energized by her three young grandkids, laughing with good friends, and beating her wife at Scrabble, which doesn't happen very often.
Jessica Shore

Jessica (she/her) received her bachelor’s degree in communication studies and obtained her master’s and doctorate in clinical psychology. Jessica is invested in creating sustainable access to high quality mental health services. She is passionate about equity and increasing Khesed’s awareness and engagement in equity practices. Bryan DeShasier-Marquez
Treasurer, Director
Bryan (he/him) has a Doctorate in Higher Education with a focus in Diversity in Higher Learning and Cognate in Organizational Behavior & Governance from the University of Denver. Bryan is deeply committed to leveraging his expertise to foster environments where compassion and efficiency coexist. His dedication to leadership and operational excellence is driven by a desire to create impactful, sustainable growth, and positive change. Bryan's enthusiasm is fueled by the belief that through collaboration and compassion, Khesed can amplify its reach and deepen its impact on those Khesed serves. Bryan loves his time with his husband and their two dogs, Evee and Sophie, finding joy in naps during rain or the quiet of a snowy day. He delights in getting lost in the world of books, tucked away in his own peaceful nook, and he pours his creative spirit into writing children's picture books that combine compassion and lesson.
Lucas Land
Director
Lucas (he/him) is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and works as Director of Development for The Delores Project in Denver, CO where he lives with his partner, three kids, a dog, and a cat. He is proud that everyone in his family is in therapy and passionate about making mental health more accessible and promoting its benefits for everyone. He has degrees in music and theology which he doesn’t regret even though he doesn’t use them in his day job. Lucas has also advocated and volunteered in the areas of sustainability, anti-racism, diversity, and LGBTQ+ rights. Raising good humans is the accomplishment he is most proud of. Lucas enjoys writing and playing music, tabletop games, hiking, camping, and traveling with his family.
Lundi Ramos
President, Founding Director, CEO and Licensed Therapist
Lundi Ramos (he/they) is an artist, entrepreneur and licensed therapist with a clear vision: making mental health care accessible for everyone, especially those on the margins. Rooted in a passion for mental health equity, Lundi leads with intention and heart, crafting solutions that remove barriers to care for marginalized communities.
Khesed’s story began with Lundi’s personal journey as a queer person searching for affordable, affirming therapy. Unable to find a therapist who truly understood their needs, they turned that frustration into a mission to build a better way—one where therapy meets people where they are.
In eight years of creating and leading Khesed, Lundi has transformed their vision into action, providing over 75,000 affordable and free mental health sessions to more than 6,000 clients. Their leadership is grounded in lived experience and a belief in the power of removing systemic and financial obstacles to change lives.
Beyond Khesed, Lundi serves on the Colorado Restaurant Foundation board, chairs the Colorado Natural Medicine Advisory Board, and hosts a podcast to expand the conversation around mental health equity.
