Our Mission

At Khesed Wellness, we’re here to change the way people access mental health care. We believe that affordable and free therapy should be within reach for everyone, especially for those who face systemic barriers. We focus on individuals, families and communities that have often been overlooked.

Therapy isn’t just about affordability for us; it’s about finding the right match with a therapist who truly understands you. At Khesed, we make sure that cultural fit and connection are prioritized, providing a safe, inclusive space for every client.

We know that the mental health field hasn’t always reflected the diversity of those it serves, so we hire therapists from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. We even offer a BIPOC Therapist Program to support and elevate voices that represent the lived experiences of marginalized communities, creating care that feels real and relatable. Our therapists not only bring compassion and expertise but also receive ongoing training and supervision to offer the best possible care to our clients.

Khesed was founded by a transgender, queer therapist who understands firsthand the obstacles faced by marginalized communities, and that unique perspective shapes everything we do. We keep our services affordable and accessible, starting with a free consultation and programs designed to meet people where they are.

We offer both virtual and in-person therapy options, ensuring that accessing care is easy, flexible, and on your schedule. At Khesed, there are no waitlists—we’re ready when you are. With therapists who reflect our clients’ cultural and linguistic needs, including Spanish-speaking providers, we’re building a care model that feels welcoming and right for you.

We’re also here in the hardest moments. When crises arise, we’re prepared to provide specialized, relevant outpatient therapy for those who may have nowhere else to turn. Whether during a community crisis or in response to national events, our therapists are ready to support healing during challenging times.

Khesed is more than just therapy—it’s about hope, respect, and the journey to feeling whole again. Learn how you can join us or access our programs to support your mental health, or help us make this mission possible for more people in need.
