What Makes Khesed Unique?

At Khesed Wellness, we’re changing how people access outpatient mental health therapy.

We know that therapy can be expensive and hard to find, especially for those who need it most.

That’s why we’ve created affordable, free and corporate therapy programs that break down barriers and make mental health therapy more accessible for everyone.

Our Mission

We provide free and affordable outpatient mental health therapy to those who need it most.

Our Vision

We want every person in the U.S. to have access to affordable mental health care in their community—care that’s tailored to their unique cultural and clinical needs.

How We’re Different

1. We Center Marginalized Communities

We believe in putting marginalized communities first. Many people can’t get the mental health care they need due to cost, lack of culturally competent therapists, or simply being overlooked by the system. That’s why our programs are designed to serve communities that are hit hardest by these challenges. Whether it’s economic barriers or a lack of relatable therapists, we make sure care is available where it’s needed most.

2. It’s About Fit, Not Finances

At Khesed, it’s not about what you can pay—it’s about finding the right match. We pair clients with therapists based on the best therapeutic fit, focusing on creating real, culturally aligned connections for better outcomes. Everyone deserves care that makes them feel seen and understood. Schedule a free consultation.

3. Diverse Therapists, Inclusive Care

We’re serious about diversity and inclusion—for both our clients and our therapists. We make it a priority to hire therapists from diverse backgrounds who truly understand the experiences of our clients. Plus, we offer free supervision and continuing education to ensure our therapists are equipped to deliver the best care possible.

Through initiatives like our BIPOC Therapist Program, we provide specialized support to therapists and clients from underrepresented communities, empowering them to give and receive care that matters.

4. Investing in Therapist Excellence

At Khesed, we invest in our therapists because we know that quality care starts with them. Our clinical training programs focus on improving cultural competency and giving therapists the skills to provide compassionate, expert care to underserved communities.

5. Therapist-Started and Led

Khesed was start and is led by a transgender queer therapist who deeply understands the challenges faced by marginalized communities. This unique perspective ensures that our services are inclusive and sensitive to the needs of those often overlooked in mental health care. Our executive leadership and board of directors is also made up of therapists who prioritize both mental health expertise and compassionate care. At Khesed, inclusivity isn’t just a value—it’s at the heart of everything we do.

6. Breaking Down Financial Barriers

We know that cost is one of the biggest barriers to mental health care. At Khesed, we’re committed to making therapy affordable and accessible. That’s why we offer therapy either free or well below market rates. For those who qualify, we provide up to 24 therapy session hours of free therapy. Our focus on affordability ensures that financial challenges don’t stand in the way of receiving the compassionate, high-quality mental health care everyone deserves.

7. Flexible Access, No Waitlists

Khesed is all about meeting you where you are. We offer both virtual and in-person therapy so you can choose what works best for your schedule and comfort. We prioritize matching clients with diverse therapists, including Spanish-speaking therapists, ensuring that care is culturally and linguistically appropriate. Best of all, there are no waitlists—you can start therapy when you need it, without unnecessary delays.

8. Responsive to Current Events

Our team is always tuned in to the mental health impacts of current events. Whether it’s a community crisis or a national tragedy, we’re here to provide specialized support for those hit hardest, especially communities with limited access to mental health services. Khesed therapists are experts in these areas, offering the timely, relevant care needed to help people heal during challenging times.

At Khesed, we’re not just offering therapy—we’re offering hope, understanding, and a path to healing that’s accessible to all. Learn more about how you can access our programs or support our mission to make mental health care available for everyone, especially those who need it most.
