Navigating coupling, uncoupling, life transitions, and intimate relationships can be challenging. We yearn for togetherness and separateness; closeness and space; intimacy and independence; trust/safety/security and spark/intrigue/desire. In relationships we ask: Can I be myself here? Is it possible to have it all? We fear in relationships we are either losing love or losing ourselves. Lorna is passionate about supporting couples and connection. She enjoys working individually with men, women and partners exploring attachment orientations, and leveraging the forces that foster a sense of safety alongside those that sustain long-term desire.
Empowered with practical tools and everyday life practices for navigating fear, anxiety and childhood trauma, Lorna’s clients strengthen trust, intimacy and secure attachment. She celebrates people turning themselves on - mentally, physically & spiritually - to live and love authentically and meaningfully through freedom and connection.
Lorna holds a Master's Degree in Education, undergraduate degrees in Journalism and English and presently is completing her MA and psychotherapy credentialing in Mental Health Counseling at Naropa University with a concentration in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Psychology.
With nearly 30 years professional experience, Lorna’s supports have included relationship work; mindfulness & meditation instruction; consulting; teaching; speaking; and writing.
Mother of three humans, three animals and too many plants, Lorna resides near Boulder, Colorado. She enjoys her loved ones, nature, teaching yoga & barre, and believes firmly in the power of a bath.
