Dillon de la Torre

Apprentice Therapist

Dillon de la Torre (He/Him/His) has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Counseling and Family Psychology. Dillon also has a minor in Ethnic Studies. Dillon is currently a Master’s candidate in Sport and Performance Psychology, and is starting his journey to become a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado.

Dillon hopes to foster a client centered humanistic relationship and wants both his client and himself to feel safe to show up as their authentic self. He invites his clients to build a rapport based on trust that will allow them to explore their core values, beliefs, and what drives their emotions and behaviors. Dillon’s goal is for his clients to become fully self actualized and to foster positive change.

Dillon enjoys helping people heal their emotional and mental wounds to realize and unlock their innate potential. He specializes in substance abuse issues, values exploration, and optimizing their performance in any domain.

Dillon’s ideal clients are those willing to explore their values and beliefs, and to be open and honest with themselves and their therapist. Dillon has worked for a number of years in the past with people with developmental disorders or traumatic brain injuries. Dillon also has experience working with teams and individuals who are trying to optimize their sport and performance goals.

Dillon enjoys watching sports and movies, going to concerts, and relaxing with friends and family.
